Le bâtiment est situé dans un parc de la Trinité Banlieu de la ville de Minsk .

Le bâtiment actuel du théâtre a été ouvert en 1939. Il a été conçu par l'architecte Biélorussie Langbard Joseph dont la conception originale a été que partiellement mises en œuvre et certains détails de conception ont été omis céder à des problèmes financiers et autres. Le bâtiment du théâtre a des reliefs par Zair Azgur .

En 1996, le Théâtre d'Etat a été divisé en deux salles indépendantes: le National Ballet Bolchoï Théâtre de la République du Bélarus et de l'Opéra Théâtre Académique National de la Biélorussie. Le bâtiment a été rénové et rouvert en 2009. 

The building is located in a park in the Trinity Suburb of Minsk.

The present building of the theater was opened in 1939. It was designed by architect Joseph Belarus Langbard whose original design was only partially implemented and some design details have been omitted to give financial and other problems. The theater building has reliefs by Zair Azgur.

In 1996, the State Theatre was divided into two separate rooms: the National Bolshoi Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus and the National Academic Opera Theatre of Belarus. The building was renovated and reopened in 2009.
