202 - ROUMANIE - Brasov

Brasov est une ville de Roumanie. Elle se situe autour de la colline Tâmpa, dans le Pays de la Bârsa, à la courbure des montagnes Carpates, dans la partie sous l'influence saxonne de la Transylvanie historique.

Sur la photo ; La Place du Conseil de Brasov, Un pilori , au milieu de la place, a été utilisé comme un moyen pour l'humiliation publique, la punition et le mépris. des sorcières ont également été punis ici.

Une tradition locale dit que les enfants que le joueur de flûte de Hamelin ( Allemagne ) a envoyé sous terre sont apparus près de cette place Brasov.

Brasov is a city in Romania. It is located around the hill Tâmpa, Country of Barsa, the curvature of the Carpathian Mountains, in part under the influence of the historic Saxon Transylvania.

In the photo, the Council Square of Brasov, a pillory, in the middle of the square was used as a means for public humiliation, punishment and contempt. Witches were also punished here.

Local tradition says that the children the Pied Piper of Hamelin (Germany) sent underground appeared near the square Brasov.

196 - ROUMANIE - Train "Viseu de Sus"

Le Viseu de Sus, chemin de fer forestier, situé à l'extrême nord de la Roumanie près de la frontière avec l'Ukraine, est un exemple remarquable du patrimoine culturel technique. La ligne est connu comme le "Vaser Valley Railway" - "vaser" vient du mot allemand locale de l'eau, à l'époque de l'Empire austro-hongrois.

La ligne longe la rivière Vaser avec de nombreuses courbes, les ponts et plusieurs tunnels, dans une vallée sauvage et romantique, haut dans les montagnes des Carpates. Le chemin de fer ouvre une vaste superficie de forêt isolé et montagne, sans routes ou villages mais avec des ours et des loups d'abondance à la place !

The Viseu de Sus forestry railway, located in the far north of Romania close to the border with the Ukraine, is an outstanding example of technical cultural heritage.  The line is known as the “Vaser Valley Railway” - "vaser" comes from the local German word for water, in the time of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

The line runs alongside the Vaser River with numerous curves, bridges and several tunnels, into a wild and romantic valley, high in the Carpathian Mountains.  The railway opens up a vast area of isolated forest and mountain, without roads or villages but with plenty bears and wolves instead !

Constanța (ou Constanza) est une ville portuaire de l'est de la Roumanie (la seconde après Bucarest pour le nombre d'habitants), elle est située sur les rives occidentales de la mer Noire. La municipalité de Constanța compte une population de 304 279 habitants au 1er juillet 2007, mais l'agglomération compte environ 450 000 habitants avec les communes limitrophes.

Constanţa (or Constanza) is a port city in eastern Romania (Bucharest for the second after the number of inhabitants) is located on the western shores of the Black Sea. The municipality of Constanta has a population of 304,279 inhabitants on 1 July 2007, but the city has about 450,000 inhabitants with neighboring municipalities.
