À New York, le Flatiron District est un petit quartier du Midtown de Manhattan, situé autour du Flatiron Building, un des premiers gratte-ciels de la ville, remarquable par sa forme triangulaire. Cette partie de l'île new-yorkaise forme une jonction entre le Midtown et le Lower Manhattan. Essentiellement constituée d'immeubles commerciaux. Ce quartier s'est autrefois appelé « Photo district », avec la présence de nombreux studios de photographes. Le Madison Square Park est situé dans le même secteur, tout comme le Museum of Sex et le Gershwin Hotel, qui expose des œuvres d'Andy Warhol et d'autres anciens artistes new-yorkais.
In New York, the Flatiron District is a small district of Midtown Manhattan, located around the Flatiron Building, one of the first skyscrapers of the city, noted for its triangular shape. This part of the island of New York as a junction between Midtown and Lower Manhattan. Mainly consists of commercial buildings. This area was formerly called "Photo District", with the presence of many studio photographers. Madison Square Park is located in the same area, as well as the Museum of Sex and the Gershwin Hotel, with works by Andy Warhol and other former New York artists.
